"JOURNALISTS OR TOURISTS " is the number 11 of "Operation Fugu" campaign is inspired by the "Operation Diodon" mission during the Lebanon war fr om 1982 to 1984.
The Multinational Security Force was created in September 1982 at the Lebanese request to the Secretary General of the United Nations and dissolved in March 1984 following the double attack against the French and American contingents.
The war is marked by rifts between religious communities, militias, phalanxes, traffickers, and by foreign interventions (Syria, Arab League, Israel, Iran, etc...).

After the night raid on the "Deir Al Hamar" base and the recovery of the pilot (missions 9 & 10) , the situation seems to calm down a little.The plain on the east side of Mount Lebanon is under the control of hostile militias between the town of Baalbek and the Syrian border.
The front is stabilized and our command has decided to assign us to the United Nations peacekeeping force deployed on the border between Lebanon and the State of Israel.
To fly to South Lebanon and to land at the United Nations base in Marjayoûn, it is planned to pick up a journalist (continent news) who wishes to go to this border region with her team. The communications department would like us to pick up the journalist team at their hotel in Jounie. A flight of tourist sites around Beyrout is planned:

Takeoff is scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
The start of the flight will be in formation with another Mi-24P helicopter (callsign Viper 1), you will be the leader.
Viper will be the first on the runway, DO NOT FOLLOW HIM WITHOUT TOWER AUTHORISATION !
Viper 1 will join you after your take off, to fly to waypoint 1 in close formation, and to land first at Jounie.
You land at the UN hotel in Jounie, pick up the journalists, take them to the tourist sites in Beirout according to the flight plan, and then head to the Rayak base, where you will be escorted to the United Nations base in Marjayoûn in southern Lebanon.
Formation flight will take place during this flight, allow approximately 1 hour 15 of mission. No Combat !
