F/A-18C Hornet (VFA-113 / CVW-17) as it appeared just as it embarked on USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in May 2012
This is a completely re painted livery, for the actual Fa18-CLot 50, the other livery on user files is for the OLD F18 model. This bird was painted especially and assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 113, flown by Cmdr. Craig Sicola. The Coronado Firehouse was apparently his favourite steakhouse and bar when on shore !
I cant find my original source, but if i recall it right, a custom car paintshop designed the scheme and may have even had a hand in painting it, and it has the name of the San Diego sports bar on it too - photo encluded of how it did look, there are other photos of it but i like the one with the bar and paint shop logos.
