"Night Raid" is the number 9 of "Operation Fugu" campaign is inspired by the "Operation Diodon" mission during the Lebanon war fr om 1982 to 1984.
The Multinational Security Force was created in September 1982 at the Lebanese request to the Secretary General of the United Nations and dissolved in March 1984 following the double attack against the French and American contingents.
The war is marked by rifts between religious communities, militias, phalanxes, traffickers, and by foreign interventions (Syria, Arab League, Israel, Iran, etc...).

After the Yak 52 was intercepted (Mission 8), a major arms trafficker was arrested and military intelligence managed to obtain important information regarding the location of a logistics base.
This base is a transport company that supplies weapons to the militias that have taken control of the bekka plain, on the other side of the mountains of lebanon.
You have been promoted ! and your mi 24-P is now a Army helicopter ! The United nations consider that now the conflict is open, and the opération is now a military.
The location of this base is in the small town of "Deïr Al Ahmar".
The military command has decided to strike this installation.
Most of the strikes will be carried out by the "air force" with MK 84 bombs dropped at high altitude by 2 phantoms (Zeus 1 & 2).
Also lebaneses 2 Su-25 ground attack and 2 Mig 27 planes will make low passes to attack and decoy air defenses and allow helicopters to attack.
A group of 4 attack helicopters is planned to destroy enemy installations immediately after airstrikes. The attack order will be given by the command, as soon as the group of helicopters is ready "circus code". The attack code name will be "code: trapeze".

2. Take off (after your leader) 19.47 pm
3. Regroup at waypoint 1 and Orbit 19.50 pm
4. After "CLOWN" code go to waypoint 2
5. Fly in tight formation into the Nahr Abu Aali canyon
6. At the pass regroup and wait "CIRCUS" code at waypoint 6
7. Attack code "TRAPEZE" waypoint 7
The planned mission is to fly inside "Mount Lebanon" by the Nahr Abou Aali" canyon wich takes 20 minutes. Léopard 1 will rampstart, you (Uzi free) & 2 KA-50 attack helicopters.
Once You take off just after your leader, rejoin your leader Leopard. After flying into a canyon, cross a pass at high altitude, you will fly in hostile terrain, the eastern slope of mountain being "uncontrolled".
Reports point to phalanxes or militias equipped with small arms and heavy machine guns. The instructions are to engage any hostile, when the code "TRAPEZE" is given. A group of planes will strike the base, your primary objective is to attack AAA in the sector.
About 1 hour to complete this mission, Combat in this mission !
Follow your leader, and good flight.
The mission is successful if your helicopter "Uzi 3" return to the parking lot on the base safe and sound.
