Skin for the New Zealand Air Force's fictional F-16C test and evaluation squadron dubbed the 64 Squadron. Includes custom fuel tank and pylon textures. If you have aircraft numbers showing up on the aircraft (Tail area and intake), just delete them in the rearmament/refuel window (do not put in 0's, just delete the 3 digits and hit ok).

This is a skin for an New Zealand Air Force fictional F-16C test and evaluation squadron dubbed the 64 Squadron.  The design is original but influenced by paint schemes seen on trainer aircraft employed by the Royal Australian, Royal New Zealand, and United States Air Forces. In a fictional world where New Zealand bought F-16's in the early 2000's, and if a large budget was available, the 64th would have served as an advanced trainer squadron as pilots transition from clunky jet trainers to full fledged fighters. (I know this is not how it works in real life but I thought it would look cool).

I did my best to do the proper research one what does and does not go on a RNZAF aircraft. Included is a new custom squadron logo based off of a Long-tailed Cuckoo bird or "Koekoeā". As a training squadron and in typical RNZAF fashion a relevant Maori saying is attached to the squadron honor the past indigenous peoples of New Zealand and to represent the fighting spirit of the Kiwi people! This squadrons mantra is "Ko te matauranga te mana", or roughly translate to "knowledge is power" as its a training squadron that focuses on making pilots dangerous and proficient with the F-16. Also included in the design is both the RNZAF flag ensigns with a single diamond on either side of the roundel denoting a training unit. the customary RNZAF full color fin-flash, and a custom streamer design denoting the 64th squadron as seen atop the tail and on the fuel tanks.

I hope you enjoy the skin and have fun flying it around! As was stated by the late 75 squadron - "Ake Ake Kia Kaha!"

Note: If you have aircraft numbers showing up on the aircraft (Tail area and intake), just delete them in the rearmament/refuel window (do not put in 0's, just delete the 3 digits and hit ok).
