This is a (more or less) recreation of AV8BII+ No. 165307. An HMM operated Harrier is rare to see, but apparently, they’re not super uncommon. Since a super dope Tiger bird with black nights insignia looks cool asf, I decided to make it a livery.
As far as I could gather, it was originally a VMA-231 bird in the early 2000's but was transferred over to VMA-542 sometime before 2007 which is where it got its paint. In 2008, it was sent to HMM-365 where it served in Afghanistan which is the version of the bird I turned into the livery. In 2009, it was transferred back to VMA-542. In 2018, it was flying with VMA-542 with a new darker paint job. Most recent info is in October 2022 there are photos of it as a bird for VMA-223.
This skin includes custom textures for the GBU-12/16, GBU-38/54, and the LAU-68/131 that do not break IC.
