1985 - NETAFIM MILITARY BASE - ISRAEL
Insurgent forces have entered the Syrian-Israeli DMZ. They seem to be preparing a defense force to occupy the entire DMZ. Syria denies any involvement, however they also don't support military action.
Israel has decided to attack the enemy before they gain any further in strength. Together with 124th squadron, you'll join this massive attack and show of force.
Mission duration: ±30-45 minutes (depending on play style)
Mission difficulty: Easy to moderate (depending on play style)
No mods required
No SC required
Syria required (obviously)
Notes:
Due to the longer time needed to start-up the Hind, your Huey lead might take-off sooner that you can. Don't worry, you'll easily catch up with him once airborne (just follow the large pack of Huey's to the target area)
As part of a temporary employment, you and your flight lead have been stationed at Netafim for the past few weeks. As we saw the situation across the Sea of Galilee, get worse, now the inevitable military intervention is going to be a fact. Your lead flight is right in front of you, when you start. Make sure to follow his orders.
Objective:
- Rendezvous with PONTIAC flight
- Drop off troops in your designated drop zone as shown in the briefing images (landing zone also shown on the F10 map)
