This is a submission for the B-17G Livery Competition. It includes two skins, one a detailed 'Irish Lassie' and a second one plain and without the distinguishing markings of 'Irish Lassie" and named "322nd BS - 91st BG_Bare Metal_Plain". Speculars are used but I will change to roughmets if the developers decide to upgrade the B-17 to PBR.

The detailed skin depicts Serial number 44-8475, a B-17G-65-VE, code: LG-C, nicknamed "Irish Lassie". The plane flew with the 322nd Bombardment Squadron of the 91st Bombardment Group and is depicted with 18 combat missions.

Formed in the days following the Osean Operation Giants Step, the Erusean Air Force had been crippled and was rapidly fracturing into various factions under loyalties to senior field grade leadership over what the Oseans had simplified down into ‘Loyalist’ and ‘Radical’.

The 111th Fighter Squadron was formed when the few surviving Erusean senior officers rallied forces around Farbanti and struck an uneasy peace settlement with the Osean Occupational Forces. Raiding nearby Depots and boneyards; old Federal Erusean Air Force aircraft as well as recently retired airframes were pressed back into service to aid in the air security around the capital of Erusea.

Following the formal end of the war, the 111th was reintegrated into the now smaller Erusean Air Force, composed primarily of repatriated Erusean Pilots and Loyalists to Princess D’Elise.

Bonjour,

Voici ma dernière création :

Une nouvelle livrée pour célébrer les 10 ans de présence des Mirages 2000-5 de l'EC 1/2 Cigognes sur la BA 116 de Luxeuil. Le dessin a été imaginé et conçu par Dominique Gabillé puis il a été reproduit dans un second temps sur un appareil réel.

J'ai demandé au créateur de cette belle décoration, la permission de reprendre son travail afin de l'adapter sur un Mirage 2000-C du simulateur de vol DCS World. Il a tout de suite accepté !

Merci à Dominique pour sa confiance et d'avoir accepté ma demande.

J'ai conçu un casque personnalisé en reprenant le thème de la livrée et j'ai également mis les patchs en conséquence.

Bons vols avec ce nouveau 2000 !

Voici la livrée des 20 ans du Mirage 2000-5F !

La version réelle était éphémère et n'a jamais volé ! Mais si on ne pouvait voler en réel avec alors pourquoi pas sur simulateur DCS World ?

Adaptation pour DCS World, moi-même

v2 : mise à jour personnalisée de la dérive pour habiller ce 2000 de façon plus homogène des 2 côtés de celle-ci, tout en essayant de rester dans l'esprit initial de l'auteur. J'espère que c'est oiseau original et unique au monde vous plaira...

v2.2 : mise à jour avec l'ajout d'un casque personnalisé pour le 2000-5F et des patchs sur le pilote
