The base of this mod is the work by “RaymonD14717.”
I’ve adjusted the brightness, saturation, and exposure of the main surfaces.
The goal was to make the cockpit look more realistic — most existing ones are overly bright and saturated.

Of course, the biggest limitation is the age of the MiG-21 model itself.
Achieving truly high-quality results is simply impossible at this point, as the textures are quite outdated compared to the overall graphical progress of the game.

Added a new color scheme for more comfortable use. This mod is an add-on to 'akars' work (F86 SABRE JET COCKPIT REPAINT. BLACK VERSION. V2) — the main credit goes to him.

P.S. (Due to the way the mechanism works, it appears inverted. However, such versions did exist in real life. There’s a picture of it in the mod’s gallery.)
Open the main archive with the program and copy the file there, replacing the existing one.

The base was taken from Bummer’s mod (F/A-18C HORNET pit V1.8), as I liked his textures the most. I adjusted the tone to be darker, but not too far from the classic color, namely the panels, the pilot seat fabric, the wipers, and some control elements. The screens were changed to green, which looks more realistic. Some normal maps were also replaced, and unnecessary static reflections were removed.

Version 2.0 of the gray-blue cockpit. Important changes: unit conversion table from metric to imperial. New colors for the pilot’s seat and cockpit floor, darker and closer to the overall cockpit color palette. The front panel now has a uniform color, except for the horizontal surfaces.

Installation: copy the Mods folder into the main game directory. Inside are two folders, Cockpit and Textures. It is important to replace both.
Make a backup of the previous files.
It is important to copy the contents of the archive with replacement, as many files you already have were removed to reduce the archive size.
