You are Pontiac 1-1 & it's 05:00 & you're in your Hornet, the pit is cold & dark & you're aboard USS CVN-75 Harry S. Truman on maneuvers in the Baltic Sea. After start-up, you'll follow your directors instructions to your designated catapult. Now this "Cold War" is hotting up, as we have just received reports of three fully armed Russian Tupelov TU-22 Backfire bombers orbiting the base of the Elbe river near Hamburg Finkenwerder airfield, who I might add,are our Allies. The bombers have been loitering there for a while & we do not know their intentions. Also, on our Radar, we have been tracking the movements of a Loading Dock slowly heading down the Elbe river. Further information will be provided once wheels up & on route to the AO.
After your 7 nm exit fr om Mother, you will head directly to WP-2, wh ere you will contact Tanker "Texaco" who is On Station in that area. We need you to get a full tank of gas & then continue your WP navigation & to closely follow any operational instructions given. More info in mission.
In this mission you will need to..
*Cold Start Hornet aboard Carrier then Taxi & Launch
*Perform multiple AAR
*CCIP Delivery of Mk-83 to moving TGT
*Launch HARM 88C AGM ( Only 1 x HARM avail )
*Deliver GBU-12 LGB
*Use AGM 65F Maverick
*Plot Precise Lat/Long/Dec Coordinates creating new WP
*Successfully achieve Case 1 Recovery Trap
Note:
1. All relative mission information is included within your Kneeboard.
2. Airfield Rearming & Refuelling is NOT available within this mission.
3. Please do not change or modify Loadout.
4. This mission could take you up to 2 hrs or more to complete. So don't rush & listen to all Tasking given.
5. Watch your fuel & top up as many times as you like as there are plenty of Tankers On-Station.
6. Please try & follow your WP course lines to ensure correct triggers are activated.
