Calculates A-10C II LASTE CDU wind lines from mission briefing wind and can auto-enter them into the CDU via DCS-BIOS.
LASTE-Mate is a small desktop utility for the DCS A-10C II that helps you populate the LASTE WIND page quickly and consistently.
Features
- Reads mission briefing wind layers (ground / 2000 m / 8000 m) exported from DCS
- Applies magnetic variation per theatre and converts to CDU-friendly values
- Shows the CDU WIND lines (BRG+SPD) for the standard LASTE altitude set (00/01/02/07/26)
- Optional: automatically enters the values into the A-10C II CDU via DCS-BIOS (one-by-one command sequence)

Installation
1) Download and unzip
2) Install DCS hook script for exporting mission wind (see README in GitHub Repo for detailed, up-to-date instructions)
3) (Optional) Install DCS-BIOS for automatic CDU entry
Notes
- Multiplayer: automatic input may not be allowed on some servers. Follow server rules.
- Data source is the mission briefing wind (not live wind changes).
