Royal Netherlands Air Force C-130J-30 - 336 Squadron
The Dutch 336 Squadron is used in the livery. 336SQN was founded in 1961 at Mokmer Airbase in Dutch New Guinea, flying maritime patrol duties.
After changing homebase to Curacao in the Caribbean the squadron was disbanded in 2000. In the year 2007 the RNLAF needed a tactical airlift squadron get the maximum out of the two C130H's and 336 squadron was reinstated. Since that time the squadron has seen action in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Mali and Gaza.
The squadron emblem is a bull with silver horns in striking position. The squadron's motto is "Sudore Ac Pulvere",
meaning 'Through sweat and dust'.
