"Come To Fight - Come To Win"
It has been brought to our attention, there is a target of opportunity(TOO), in a compound, on an island 3.5nm NW of Al Tabqah. This target needs to be dealt with, as soon as possible, since we have no idea how long they will be at this location.
CVN-75 Harry S. Truman, is 104nm west of Samardag. You will launch as a single F/A-18C, destroy the compound, and RTB 'Mother'. Your loadout will be 4 MK-84s, as well as 2 AIM-120s, and 2 AIM-9Xs. You will have additional help from two F/A-18s flying SEAD with HARMs, as well as two addition F/A-18s loaded with HARMs and Mavs who will be targeting the SA-2 site. Since fuel may be an issue, there will be an S-3B tanker, callsign ARCO, flying an east/west racetrack, off the coast, 13nm north of Samardag.
Several SA-19's and SA-3's are guarding the coast of Syria, with an older Moskva cruiser, waiting off the coast of Tripoli.
There are addition SA-8's and an SA-2 that has also been spotted in the area.
WEATHER:
There is a marine layer, over the water, cutting visibility down to about 2 miles. However, the weather clears up several miles inland and visibility should be optimal over the target.
