This is a an AI-controlled aircraft asset for DCS world.  This is not a 'mod' as such, as it has no animations, and no functioning cockpit (nor cockpit systems).  Rather, it is meant as a simple aircraft model to fly against as an opponent and target, including in missions by spawning in-flight.

Player Flyable?
While intended as AI-flown asset, this is 'player-flyable', in a sense.  There is no functioning cockpit (no instrument panel), thus while technically you can fly this, it doesn’t offer the ‘flight sim’ experience the Modules and other Mods offer, and is really meant to be AI-controlled.

Artistic Credits
The model is by the artist Helijah as posted on the Sketchfab website and used with permission (details on the model can be found in the README.txt file).

Performance and Calibration disclaimer
This is not an accurate flight model which is aligned with the actual real-world performance of this aircraft.  The values used in the 'aircraftname.lua' file are not based on any any technical, military or restricted content related to the aircraft, nor are they derived fr om real world operation or testing.  The values for 'aircraftname.lua' are based on publicly available data (examples: airframe dimensions, weights, engine type/power, operating speeds and altitudes).

Values for the following were obtained from Wikipedia: the maximum speed of the aircraft, its climb rate and service ceiling as well as aircraft attributes such as engine thrust, weights, wing surface area and other aircraft dimensions.

Estimates for the following were obtained from Google AI search queries, or Google Gemini queries: sustained turn rate performance, operational g lim it, stall speed, altitude at which maximum speed is attained, maximum speed at sea level, roll rate.

Values for the engine table and for the aerodynamics table were refined by in-game testing, with the objective of permitting the user to fly the aircraft in DCS World as 'player' to the max velocity, and service ceiling corresponding to the aircraft as found on the sources disucssed above.

To Install...
Installation: the usual drill…
  1) download the ‘.zip’ folder,
  2) unzip folder contents,
  3) place desired aircraft folders in your local 'mods' location, i.e ...SavedGames/DCS/Mods/aircraft...
