**SITUATION**

McCarran Airport and the Luxor’s airspace is currently denied due to multiple self-propelled SAM and AAA systems. Additionally, terrorist controlled heavy armor is monitoring roadways around the airport. Rearming and refueling via Rapid Refit Stations setup at Nellis Air Force Base, North Las Vegas Airport and Henderson Executive Airport will be necessary to eliminate all hostile threats.
You are launching from Nellis AFB as part of a rapid response task force codenamed Blackjack. Your objectives are 1) Suppress Enemy Air Defense (SEAD) around the airport, 2) rearm at a Rapid Refit Station, 3) eliminate the hostile forces near the KC-135 via Close Air Support (CAS), and 4) eliminate any remaining hostile forces in the Area of Operation (AO).
**MISSION OBJECTIVES**
1) **Mission Objective 1: Suppress Air Defense Threats (Img 2)**
Eliminate the two SAM launchers and single Self-Propelled AAA in the AO
- SAM SA-15 Tor "Gauntlet" patrolling runway 19 Lat McCarran Airport
- SAM SA-19 Tunguska "Grison" patrolling counter-clockwise around the Luxor Casino
- SPAAA Gepard located between the Luxor Casino and McCarran Airport.
2) **Mission Objective 2: Secure the KC-135 and Extract the HVT (Img 3)**
Upon neutralization of the hostile SAMs and terrorist forces surrounding the KC-135, a UH-60 'Chevy 3-0' and armored strike force 'Reaper 1' will depart the staging area south of MaCarren Airport to secure the AO and extract the HVT to Nellis AFB. (Waypoint 1)

3) **Mission Objective 3: Prevent Mass Civilian Casualties**
- Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) reports the terrorists are planning to cause mass civilian casualties at the Hotel Stratosphere if military action is taken. Eliminate any hostile threats around the Luxor Casino, McCarren Airport or along the Las Vegas Strip. If hostile forces depart the Area of Operation (AO), eliminate the threat while minimizing civilian casualties and damage to local infrastructure. (Waypoint 3)

Eliminate the Mobile Comms Jammer/Command Center disguised as a delivery truck at the Luxor Casino front entrance. Neutralization of the Command Center will disrupt hostile communications and may cause a tactical pause providing additional time to eliminate all hostile forces. (Waypoint 2)

Utilize COMMS F10 menu to activate F/A-18 SEAD, F-16 SEAD, A-10CII CAS, and AH-64 CAS AI controlled aircraft for fire support.
Dynamic Spawns in multiplayer are available for additional spawn options at Nellis AFB, North Las Vegas Airport or Henderson Executive Airport.
**DESIGN NOTES**
This mission was designed with a single player focus utilizing the F/A-18, F-16, A-10, or AH-64. Refitting and rearming will be necessary when using the F/A-18 or F-16. It is highly recommended to have an A/G loadout available for refitting quickly. Rapid Refit Stations are story orientated only, refit and rearming can occur anywhere in Nellis, North Las Vegas, or Henderson Executive.
