Hi!
This is the piece-time deployment of ground and air forces in 1989. I started with the blue side and will update as soon as the red side is finished.

The mission is only to look at, nothing has been deployed. Its to help mission designers that want to create historical missions and for the interested to visualize where which unit was. And how many... its a lot.

Germany cant be selected as map yet.

Notes:
- The french would contribute, but they are still in france. In case of war they would be under CENTHAG command.
- I placed units down to the brigade level. Their forces are still further distributed around them.
- I did not place army air defense and army artillery icons, since those would be distributed at need.
- I did not place ground launched cruise missile icons like the Pershing
- Some SAM Icons are right on point of a supposed battery site, most are not
- If a ground unit has "Training Area" in its name, its placed on a training area
- There are a ton of markers that cant be placed on the map. The location where they are supposed to be is included in their description.
- Some errors and inconsistencies should be expected. There are lots and lots of units...
- Units oversea that would arrive via ship or plane are placed in the north sea.
- We dont have the icon for normal infantry yet, so I used the recon symbol :(

Colors used:
West Germany: grey
US: blue (with dark blue text for readability)
Danish: light grey
Brits: yellow
Dutch: turquoise
Canada: dark blue
Belgian: dark yellow

My sources are mainly wikipedia. Search for CENTHAG, NORTHAG, ATAF2 and ATAF 4 if you want to double check.

Update:
- Soviet/Polish and East German Ground/Air Force placements (Polish 1st army is in baltic see, it would fight in the north)
- USAF Assets in England added over north sea

Notes:
- I did not place red SAM yet. They will come later, but for now I'm tired
- I mostly placed red divisions. In the south of east germany are some divisions fully fledged out with numbers to demonstrate the size of a single division
- I still did not place blue rotary assets. Will come later.

Colors:
Soviets: dark red
East German: red
Polish: Orange
