To be able to save your progress, you need to do this:

De-Sanitize the DCS scripting environment
Edit \Scripts\MissionScripting.lua inside your DCS installation folder:
Change the following section:

This Foothold is very much like Sinai, It's supports the following.
1. Dynamic Spawn.
2. Dynamic zone disable to have a better performance.
3. Mantis aka Skynet on some zones with Scoot'n'shoot, Meaning Shorad aka Sa-15, Sa-8 etc will fire and move.
4. CTLD. Capture zone with Troops dropped fr om helo. Drop Hawk Site or build a farp with persistence.
5. Welcome Message upon entering the unit with Wind, active runway, QNH and altimeter.
6. When zone is captured, you'll get notified that ATIS is now available for that zone if airfield incase you want to land there.
6. Balanced AI, both Red cap and red ground units.
7. Escort for A-10, F15E, Hercules with built in radio menu: "Orbit here", "setup reacetrack", "Rejoin" "RTB", "Patrol ahead"
8. Custom purchase menu with the usual + Jtac 9 Line.
9. Ability to destroy bought CAP
10. AWACS and Tankers will progress
11. Kneeboard with Cords.
12. Hotstart available.
13. Support For Chinook and many more.
