Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 31 (VX-31 or AIRTEVRON THREE ONE, commonly referred to by its nickname, "The Dust Devils" ) is a United States Navy air test and evaluation squadron based at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, California. Using the tail code DD, they fly numerous United States Navy and United States Marine Corps fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
The unit patch is seen in Top Gun: Maverick.
This is VX-31 Dust Devils livery pack for the CJS Super Hornet Mod by Chiller Juice Studios. The pack contains liveries from 2006-2024 period. One for the Echo and the Growler and three for the Foxtrot model. Custom helmets and patches also included.
Used Bill's template for the more dirtier and worn versions.
You have to set BORT and BuNo numbers in the mission editor for the Growler. Just set desired tail # and aircraft identification type to "USN STANDARD" in mission editor.
