This mod adds an upgraded variant of the F-15C Eagle air superiority fighter. Includes improved radar and new weapons.
ATTENTION: This mod no longer conflicts with my F-15EX Eagle II mod or any other mods that I am aware of.
The Golden Eagle upgrade program added improved sensors and weapons to the existing F-15C fleet. Changes include a new AESA variant of the F-15's radar (APG-63v3), and the capability to carry and employ advanced variants of the AIM-120 AMRAAM and AIM-9 Sidewinder. This mod adds a new version of the F-15C with a stand-in for the APG-63v3 radar (based on Nightstorm's code for the F-22 enhancement mod radar), and native support for the AIM-9X Sidewinder (minus HMD cueing). If you have my F-15EX mod installed, you can also use improved AIM-120 variants, specifically the AIM-120C-7, C-8, and D-3, along with the AIM-260A and the MAKO hypersonic anti-radiation missile.
Installation: Drag and drop into Saved Games/DCS/Mods/Aircraft.
