This is a (more or less) recreation of AV8BII+ No. 166287, a bird that flew for VMA-542 with a very cool tail paint that differentiates itself from other Day Paints in the squadron.

As far as I can tell, this aircraft started flying for VMA-223 in the early 2000’s, but was transferred over to VMA-542 by the 2010’s. There it received a similar paintjob to 1990’s harriers operated by the tigers, as well as getting some GBU victory decals. A few years later, it was transferred back to VMA-223 wh ere it remains as of 2021.
Some small details are off about this paintjob, such as the helmet not having the center stripe common among 542 pilots, but since I’m doing this for fun I figured that it was close enough for Jazz
This skin includes custom textures for the GBU-12/16, GBU-38/54, and the LAU-68/131 that do not break IC.
