Updated 24-06-11. The now well known SAAB 39E pattern as first shown on #6002, adapted to the DCS F-16C
This fictional F-16C livery makes use of bort numbers, mip maps and is a set of 8 different liveries including the base pattern with Swedish Air Force markings. The 7 additional liveries carry markings from flygflottiljerna F4, F7, F10, F15, F16, F17 and last but not least F21. Individual aircraft numbers are customizable by the use of bort numbers supporting up to three digits.
Installation: Extract the folders and copy/move them into your (DCS: F-16C) liveries folder.
The base pattern used is the #6002 skin by @ikonane also available here. I then made some color corrections and alterations, including changes to the pattern most notably the vertical stabilizer, added airbase (Flygflottilj) markings and set up the description files to support all included textures within the folder structure. Since the Swedish Air Force does not operate any F-16s (duh) this skin is entirely fictional. Made for those of us who wants to fly this excellent jet in Swedish Air Force markings and in orderly fashion, the set of liveries allows for the creation of entire flights from various airbases.
- January 2023: Fixed 370 gal tank reference in description.lua so the textures now load correctly, + polish pass.
- June 2024 update: Renaming of the skins ingame, some tweaks.
