Russian regular army forces, emboldened by their uncontested occupation of Crimea, have invaded the Republic of Georgia, using the Tbilisi-Senaki Hwy and Myussery Railway, southeast along the coastal plain corridor as the next step to reestablish the hegemony of the former Soviet Union. The joint effort by NATO forces, under US command, to thwart the Russian advance has been named Operation Rogue Bear. USAF has gained air superiority and CSG 3 Operations has planned a large-scale attack on the rail yard at Chushka peninsula, Russia, serving as a primary trans-shipment terminal supplying the Russian ground forces with materiel shipped from Crimea. Primary ground attack on rolling stock and equipment will be carried out by division of A-10C (Cowboy 3) from Maykop.

You will lead your F/A-18C flight of 2 to neutralize local air defense systems then destroy the Kaldahvara Bridge. Check in (by F10 menu) with JTAC (Red Fox) when 10 minutes out. Red Fox will lase the target for about 5 minutes when commanded by separate F10 menu item. AWACS (Magic) and F-15C (Vampire 2) TARCAP will provide support. Expect the target to be heavily defended.

I have modified a mission originally developed by Werewolf to include a JTAC who will lase the target for LGB attack by request using the F10 menu item. The revised mission also includes some additional voice messages and random events. No mods are needed.

Heavy losses inflicted by allied air power have enabled ground forces to advance within the provinces of FARS and BANDAR ABBAS and start operations in the province of KERMAN. HUMINT sources confirm location of CCC bunker on south side of Kerman. You will lead flight of 2 F/A-18C to destroy a command bunker. Expect robust anti-air defenses. Bunker reported as location of weekly general staff meeting at 0700.

Refinery Strike Escort Persian Gulf SP

CSG3 Ops has prepared multi-group mission, package code name Grumpy, to destroy the refinery, code named Disneyland, near Khonj, Iran. Group of 4 x A-10C will execute the attack with Chevy 1 (F-16 x 2) tasked with SEAD support. JTAC support (Magic) is available.

Player will lead flight of 4 F/A-18C departing USS Stennis to Join A-10C's, Boar 3 x2 and Boar 4 x2, at WP2 near Kish Island and escort to Khonj refinery and return. Boar will fly NOE to WP2 to avoid detection by Iranian IADS. When ready to push, advise Boar (by F10 menu) and escort Boar to/from Disneyland. At WP3 orbit until target area cleared green by SEAD Chevy 1. If Chevy 1 fails to clear air defenses, order package to continue or abort, using F10 menu, as threat dictates.

Single player F/A-18C CAS/RESCAP mission. Original mission by fpullanojr, modifed by Habu for single player DCS 2.5.3 Sept. 2018. File includes mission data card and flight plan.

US army forces are defending a small island outpost in Georgia guarding a bridge-head near the FLOT. They are in contact with hostile groups of light armored units west of their position, across a river. Two flights of 2 x F/A-18C (Colt 1, Colt 2) are tasked to fly to Army outpost and provide CAS as directed by AFAC Pointer. Fly lead for Colt 1 flight, launching from USS Stennis off Georgia coast. Form up with Colt 2 at WP 1. Fly to IP at WP2 and beware of SAMs along your route. At WP2 JTAC Pointer on the bridge will make visual contact and direct your attack.

You will fly a 30 minute protective CAP for Stennis Carrier Strike Group off the coast of Georgia. RAR file includes fair weather and foul weather versions. Russian adversaries may threaten at any time from any direction. F-14A alert 5 group will be available by F10 menu item IF multiple bandit groups threaten. Numerous random factors should make reflying the mission an enjoyable experience. Developed as single player, but easily converted to 2-4 clients.
