You'll fly a Hornet, either SEAD or escort/cap.

SEAD:
Take off from carrier, fly towards northwest Buk site, take it out, and RTB. Another Hornet will take out the other two SAMs, but you can help out if you want to.

Escort:
Take off from carrier, meet up with the Bone and take out the enemy Tomcats near the target. Ensure the target is destroyed and RTB.

Three F16s will take off from Al Minhad AFB and perform CAP near the target to help out the Hornets.
Tanker and AWACS are orbiting near the carrier.

Requires Supercarrier DLC.

In this mission, you will be flying a sortie into Iran. This is a mission for either the Mirage F1-CE, Mirage F1-EE, Mirage F1-BE, Mirage 2000C, F-16C, F-14B, F/A-18C, JF-17, F-15E, or F-5E-3 airframes. ***DOWNLOAD MODS in the Description to play as intended.***

Feel Free to change your weapon loadout.  Shoot down any hostile aircraft you can, then come home alive. We know you might face multiple planes of the following types that the IRIAF has at its disposal: F-4C, F14, F-5E, MiG 27, MiG 29, JF-17, Su-27, and Mirage F1BQ. Enemy airframes will be random. The waypoints are your suggested way in and out of Iran, however you can fly another route if you so desire. This route was chosen to avoid some of the more powerful SAM sites and air defenses. Civilian ship - Handy Wind is currently DIW in the strait of Hormuz, IRGC intend to either hijack the ship or destroy the ship if they are unable to hijack it. UK Navy on patrol responded to the distress call and dispatched a single SA342 Gazelle to assist.

Primary Objective: Given # of ground forces should advance to the final point. Enemy areas are defended by armors. Your duty is to handle them. Some escorts will be supported.

Secondary Objective: Complete the deck of cards which can be taken after occupying the point.

Enemy types and mission areas are variable to some extent. So no preplanned WP is provided. You can select your engaging zone and manage ground forces to advance/stop.

Maps: Caucasus, Persian gulf

- Rotary: AH-64D, KA-50 III, MI-24P
- Fixed wings: F-14B, F-16C, F/A-18C, AV-8B, M-2000C, AJS37, A-10A, A-10C II, SU-25, SU-25T, F-15E

To start mission, select [Ready] menu after adjusting options using F10 COMM menu.
After start, you can also make a few orders using that.

Lead a massive coalition attack against Abu Musa island in a show of force. You will be striking a Silkworm battery and remain on station in case any SCUD missiles come out. Supporting you will be flights of Vipers, Hornets, Mirages, BUFFs and Bones. Happy hunting!

The enemy plans an attack on Al Ain Airport. This needs to be prevented. You are Tasked to take out an enemy base near the Airport to prevent the Attack and to protect Al Ain. This should prevent the attack, but this is not guaranteed.

The Mission isn’t realistic. It is only supposed to be a fun Mission without much realism to it. It can also be used as a Training mission since there is not a lot of pressure.
We don't need to Argue, that a barrage of AGM-86s is completely overkill to kill a single S-300 site and wouldn’t be done under any circumstances. It is only about showing off.

The new cockpit textures included with DCS 2.9 for the Spitfire changed the boost gauge from the 24lb type to the 16lb type. The gauge was not recalibrated for this (and our Spitfire's Merlin 66 puts out 18lbs boost at max power anyway), so the gauge is currently incorrect across the entire throttle range. I've taken the scale from the old 24lb gauge and blended it with the new one so that it retains the better fidelity of the new gauge, but with the correct scale of the old one. I've also replaced the scale for the altimeter pressure setting subscale as something similar has occurred.
