"Lizzy" Republic P-47D-30-RE 44-20456 flown by Capt. Les Leavoy

Summary of Changes:
-Now compatible with both early and late model P-47s

Aircraft "S" Serial number 42-27339 from the 82nd Fighter Squadron as it would of appeared when the squadron was assigned to Duxford, c. 1944.

This aircraft piloted by 1LT. Ernie Sprouse was aircraft "Q" Serial number 44-20246 from the 512th Fighter Squadron as it would of appeared when the squadron was assigned to Nordholz, Germany, c. 1945.  I am told when then 2LT. Ernie Sprouse received this aircraft "Texas Kay" was already painted on the right cowling.  A "payment" of 2 bottles of whiskey ensured "Gladys" would soon appear on the left cowling.  This livery was done by special request for a friend of the now late Ernie Sprouse.  I can only hope I did his aircraft justice.  Enjoy!

"Snafu / War Eagle" was flown in the 83rd FS, 78th FG. by Lt. Severino B. Calderon during late 1944. It has now since been restored and is part of The Fighter Collection at Duxford Aerodrome.
This livery was originally for the P-47G Razorback, but I liked it that much I thought I'd give it a go for the "D" model. Enjoy!

A pretty heavy single player open sandbox training mission on the Normandy 2.0 map. There are no threats.
Modules Required - WW2 Assets (any of the modules you want to train in of course :D )

5 Ranges to choose from, Bing, Frank, Glenn, Andrews and Duke for Ground Attack, Air to Air, Anti Ship, Airbase & Convoy attack.

"Ambient Spawns" - I don't like being the only one taking off so I've added AI that spawn when you do around the airfield.

Airfield populated with Statics and ambient units.

Smoke on targets and Air to Air "drones" available via the Radio menu

There is only one mission file included which contains both hot and cold spawns for all WW2 modules.

While established in 1977, the 254th ‘Road Runners’ trace their lineage back to the 1940s with the 2774th Fighter Group of the same name, which flew P-47 Thunderbolts in the Ground attack role against Belkan forces during the conflict. Now, eighty years later,  the OA-10s of the 245th bear similar markings and the notable red and white checkered pattern to honor their tank busting heritage.

As a Tactical Air Support Squadron, the Road Runners Primary mission is Forward Air Control, marking targets for other A-10s to attack. While not officially used, the term ‘Fast FAC’, adorns many pieces of squadron esprit de corps, in reference to the first pilots assigned to the 254th who had been Fast FAC F-4 pilots during Verusea.

Today the Road Runners operate out of Shiloh, and have deployed both in Yuktobania and Verusea to support OADF operations in both theatres.
