This is a Custom Cockpit Mod for the "FC3" Su-27, Su-33 and J-11A Flankers with a clean and clear HUD view with reduced reflections.
Congo's "Flanker Clear HUD" cockpit mod v.1 20-03-2024
On 22nd Feb 2024, the Flaming Cliffs 3 Flanker series cockpit textures were
updated and resulted in abnormal HUD glass reflections seriously cluttering
the HUD view, (at least on my system with my settings).
Affected aircraft were the J-11a, Su-27 and the Su-33.
If your DCS FC3 Flankers were impacted, then this custom cockpit mod
may help you. There are now reduced reflections in the cockpit.
Also, the modified textures and description.lua entries
contained here could be used to modify your favourite existing custom Flanker
cockpits if you wish to have a clearer HUD view.... go for it!
This cockpit mod is based on the Default Russian cockpit for each Flanker,
but it can be added to the other excellent cockpits available with
a little bit of effort.

To Install -
Copy the unzipped "Flanker Clear HUD" folder into each of the following folders:
C:\Users\Your-Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_J-11A
C:\Users\Your-Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_Su-27
C:\Users\Your-Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_Su-33
If the above folders do not exist, you must create them first.
Open the DCS Settings cog in game. Goto Special. Then select FC3,
then select the "Flanker Clear HUD" custom cockpit for the Su-33, Su-27 and
J-11A respectively.
