It is a basic livery for the Forrestal, brightening lots of the deck markings, changing the Island to gray, and adding some Canadian touches to the Default Heatblur USS Forrestal.
In an alternate world under a lease agreement with the US Navy, Canada would once again have an aircraft carrier. With a strained budget, a single Forrestal-Class aircraft carrier was chosen. Not long after, the vessel was commissioned into the Canadian Armed Forces as HMCS Forrestal (CV-59).
The new flagship of the Armed Forces, Forrestal would be loved by its crews and operate a small number of F-14's and support aircraft in its only squadron VF-870. The carrier would unfortunately become the centre point of government debate, constant struggle to crew the ship, high operating costs, and constant threat of termination from budget cuts.
