The MIZ_OVERVIEW utility is a practical tool for mission builders. It supports simple and easy mission analysis and according documentation.
The utility produces a tabular overview of the units and its properties which are contained in a DCS mission (*.miz) file. The generated output is a spreadsheet file in CSV (comma-separated values) format and can be viewed and further processed using the tool of your preference (MSOffice, LibreOffice, whatever).

The MIZ_OVERVIEW utility shall provide an easy way to gain an overview of the units (and some of their properties) which are contained in a DCS mission file (*.miz), without the need to start DCS and its Mission Editor.
The utility is a single Win32 executable, developed using Embarcadero's C++Builder Community Edition. It does not need to be installed, just copy the contents of the download (7z archive) to HD/SDD into a folder of your choice.
The newest build 297 includes map data adaptations relating to updates of the Normandy and Syria theatre map introduced in DCS version 2.9.3. The executable is unchanged.
Important:
For the benefit of automated processing, the 7-Zip tool is required, either as standard installation (
https://www.7-zip.org/) or as portable version (
https://portableapps.com/de/apps/utilities/7-zip_portable), for automatic un-zipping of a .miz archive.
