Ace Combat - Emmerian Navy - Naval Air Combat Weapons School - Composite Squadron 13 "Schuppe" Skinpack (E-2C, C-130H, AH-1W, UH-60)
“See - Decide - Attack - Reverse”
These words are written above the doorway leading into the Naval Air Combat Weapons School, colloquially known as Fighter Weapons School,by the students and cadre who attend. Students come to NAS Mesa Verde four times a year and spend eight weeks being taught by some of the best tactics instructors in the Emmerian Military. Pilots learn both in the classroom and in the cockpit how to counter the various threats that the Emmerian military may face in the near and far future, and will go back to their own squadrons as in house instructors to teach the skills they have honed.
One of the most overlooked flying details at NAS Mesa Verde, "Schueppe" makes up the backbone of operations at the base, flying not only Logistics, but range control roles as well as limited aggressor functions in a multitude of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. Their unusual name stems from the primarily Belkan contingent that made up the Squadron at the Naval Fighter Weapons School in the late 1990s at the units inception. The Squadrons motto "To Aid and Abet" is adorned in the Ready Room in a humorous nod to their role within the Navy as a whole.
