NEW CHANGE : Updated from 2.3 Added more random missions, aircraft. and fixes. Mission is now started by accessing the F-10 menu and selecting Mission Start. Mission instructions can be now be viewed at will. Single and multi-player missions based on air to ground and air to air combat missions following the D-DAY invasion of Normandy, France by Allied forces. This is a multi mission scenario with many types of missions including ground interdiction, aerial combat, and bomber escort sorties. Missions are generated randomly  and displayed shortly after the "start" with target information listed and location identified by sector zones. Primary mission tasks are delegated to P-51 and P-47 pilots but RAF Spitfire LF Mk.IX can support and engage in the mission tasks as well.
     Several Luftwaffe slots are also available for participation in the event of pilots (especially in multi player) that want to engage in an adversary role in the FW-190 or in the BF-109.

A fun set of challenges for WW II aircraft to test your flying skills.

• Version 1.1 - Moved landing zone immediately past the last gate at the airfield, to prevent the "fail" message from appearing after a successful mission.

Challenge missions to navigate WW II-era aircraft using only visual references and/or dead reckoning.

Version 2 - Corrected several audio file errors and added better large route maps.
Version 3 - Added route maps for random missions; corrected frequencies for German aircraft
Version 4 - Corrected altitude restrictions for missions 9 and 10 to use "meters" instead of "feet"
Version 5 - Added altitude restrictions to random missions that are flown with overcast skies (you must fly within the clouds)

The Italian Air Force ( Aeronautica Militare ) F16 Block 15 ADF  "L'ultima Diana" (Diana, the goddess of the hunt and the moon) paint scheme given to plane number M.M.7236 of the 23rd group "Veltro" to commemorate the "Farewell Falcon" event, which marked the end of operations for the 23rd group f16's in the Cervia AFB on April 16, 2010 and the disbanding of the 5º stormo (air wing).
