Syrian ground radars have detected a distant high altitude echo moving fast towards Latakia. Calls from the air controllers have remained unanswered. No flight plan has been submitted for this aircraft. Since the calls were made, the unidentified spot, that seems to be a large aircraft, has started to behave erratically while descending and accelerating.

You’re a Syrian air force pilot on a nightly QRA watch. Given the odd  behaviour of the unknown aircraft, you’ve been tasked to man your aircraft and complete the startup procedure. You are to take-off if the ATC issues the scramble alert. In this eventuality, further instructions will be given after take-off.

Your armament consists of two K-13A missiles and two NR-30 guns with their full complement of ammunition.

1964/Feb 4/MiG-19P/Self/QRA Scramble/7:54

A piston engined israeli plane has been spotted in the vicinity of Rayak air base in the Bekaa Valley. We suspect the bandit is going to overfly the base and take photographs of the undergoing runway extension work to accomodate modern MiGs and help our Arab lebanese brothers protect themselves from the Zionist aggression*.

You’re a Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) pilot on an early morning QRA watch from Al Dumayr air base. You are to take off immediately and head for the Bekaa Valley.

It's July 27th 1944 9AM. The American bombers have become daily visitors over Hungary. At the airfield of Veszprém-Jutas the Pumas are sitting in the cockpits of their Me-109Gs in full readiness, waiting to scramble as soon as the alert comes. They are listening to the loudspeakers playing their favorite song that resonates with their lives so well:  "The world is just a day".

This is an epic single mission complete with voice overs, skins, briefing and kneeboard images. Lead a formation of 8 Bf-109s of the Royal Hungarian Air Force to intercept an overwhelming number of American bombers.

0800Z Terrorist Launched a Suicide mission attacking Airbase Kobuleti. Causing significant damage to the Ammo Dump and Collateral buildings on the East end of Runway 25 (Runway still operational) Coalition Goal is to Strike a known FARP used by the group to launch these attacks. We want to send a message of significant consequences for these bombings.

This scenario is linked thematically to the Khatia from Kutaisi mission.

Georgia has joined NATO. Abkhazia and South Ossetia have joined the Russian Federation.

Kutaisi Airbase became the first NATO airbase in Georgia.

The 22nd Fighter Squadron of the US Air Force is now stationed there with several other NATO forces.

The tensions are so high that airborne early warning and control systems are in the air for most of the day.

The Russian Fleet holds a visit of its troops to Syria. As part of this visit, some exercises are taking place on the Russian side. We have been following small border crossings in the last few days. Despite the announced exercise, we take the monitoring of our territory seriously and expect respectful treatment.

New flags, voice overs, triggers, changes to radio messages. Minor changes to the mission design. I have tried to make the mission a bit nicer and more fitting. For example, it is possible to use time-lapse - as soon as a text message comes in, it is automatically set to normal speed.

The Iran-Iraq War has been continuing for the past few years, with combat across air, land, and sea. Iraqi air raids have been a constant threat for which the dwindling number of F-14s and their phoenixes have been assigned to intercept.  CO-OP 2-9 Players.

It has been a busy day in the skies with many American bomber raids leaving contrails over the Fatherland today. More bombers are expected in the next few hours. We cannot hope to stop them all but for each one we shoot down we save the lives of hundreds of our citizens and factory workers.

We believe another bomber raid is about to launch from Britain and will fly through the clearer weather in the region of Le Havre.

You and your flight of four FW190 D-9 Doras are on standby to scramble against this threat.
