Russia has started a full blown war against Finland, Norway and Sweden. You are a part of a coalition force called Polar Shield, consisting of these countries. As a Viper pilot, you have been sent to Evenes Air Base to be a part of the RNoAF 334 squadron.

Defend Northern Europe against Russian aggression. Get to flight line and see what missions we have for you today.

Installation:
Extract "Polar Shield.zip" to:

We're in 2010. Banak is constantly under attack by Russian forces and the RNoAF has established a squadron of F-16s to do CAP, defending the town of Lakselv and the airbase Banak.

In the past we've seen Su-34, MiG-29 and Tu-95, but that doesn't single out any other Russian aircraft.

A prior shift of two F-16s are inbound (Dodge). They are low on fuel, but they will assist you if there are any current threats.

Get ready for your 45 minute shift.

This mission is for the F-16C, F/A-18C, Mirage 2000C, F-15E, F-14B. F-4E.
Russia has finally crossed the final line.  We are immediately beginning a mission to clear the airspace above the Kola Peninsula. Your task is simple, shoot down as many planes as you and your wing can then come home alive. Feel free to choose from any of the air-frames available.
Highly recommend adding mods in description to play as intended.

After months of massive Warsaw Pact buildup coupled with ever increasing exercises, WP forces crossed the borders of Central Europe at 1300 Zulu Feb 13th.

Norway has taken brutal losses in the Air, Land, and Sea and is barely holding off the Soviets in the Bardufoss area, South West of what has been dubbed "The Blue Line" at 21E Longitude.  

Most of Germany has fallen to the Warsaw Pact, Iceland is firmly in Soviet hands and the losses for both sides have been unfathomable.

Norway is being reinforced by the 4th MEB and 3 Commando Brigade before the Soviet land push into Southern Norway begins.

More forces are now pouring into Norway to support the now extremely vital Northern Flank of Europe.

The Soviets are building up an IADS and troop numbers on Iceland with massive air convoys out of the Murmansk area.

Northern Norway is also transforming into a fortress of Soviet SAM and EWR sites, with troops massing behind constant skirmishes near Bardufoss for an inevitable land push into the South.

Heavy NATO losses and Soviet gains in Europe are diverting forces and supplies away fr om the Norwegian area of operations. The heavily exhausted RNoAF along with the 480th and 493rd Fighter Squadrons of the USAF are pushed to their lim it trying to hold Southern Norway.
