DRAKE PASSAGE - EPISODE 1
REQUIREMENTS: F-16C + South Atlantic

Tensions are brewing between Chile and Argentina because of a wast oil and gas field discovered at the Drake Passage. Both countries considering the field as their own and already started building offshore platforms to mine the area.
A few days ago, an Argentinian speedboat shot up one of the Chilean oil rigs, and it seems that Buenos Aires is not afraid to escalate the conflict further.

MISSION BRIEFING

We got a distress call from the cargo vessel MSC Southern Star in the Magellan Strait that Argentinian ships opened fire on them and demanding to board them.
The Southern Star is transferring pumps, generators and other oil rig equipment and it seems the incident is a direct attack to stop the build up of the platforms in the south.
MISSION: COMBAT AIR PATROL OVER THE MAGELLAN STRAIT
1. Fly a two ship recce flight to Punta Catalina (WP2) and evaluate the situation.
2. Patrol over the area until further notice or until relieved to discourage Argentinian aircraft entering our airspace. Patrol area: WP2-WP3
3. DO NOT ENTER ARGENTINIAN AIRSPACE
4. ROE: Weapons hold, fire only if fired upon, or after direct order from Jaguar.
5. After take off, monitor MIL Guard at 243.000 MHz

Important: set your COMM1 to 243.00 MHz to monitor Guard Channel.
Keep COMM2 on 127.00 MHz for Jaguar and flight communications.
Jaguar is a ground based EWR (AWACS), you can get picture info the usual way.
Don't forget to arm and set up your aircraft for A2A before merge.
Rules of engagement is weapons hold. You may fire if fired upon, or when instructed by Jaguar Control.
