Georgian rebels allied with Russia have instigated a coup in Georgia and have pushed Zourabichvili government into two small corners of the country and are massing for a final offensive.
The Zourabichvili government has asked for help and a small coalition of forces has agreed to offer assistance. Intense fighting has weakened air assets on both sides. We suspect a WMD factory has being built in the town of Zemo-Natanebi, near the Kobuleti airfield. We must prevent the completion of this factory.
We are putting together a strike with the assets that we have in the region. The airbase is heavily defended by armor units unknown in number and two SA-3 SAM sites.
To inhibit rebel response with air support we are launching a cruise missile strike on Senaki-Kolkhi, Kutasi Airbases as well as the Kobuleti flight line where Ka-50 and SU-27s are being fueled. Be ready for enemy air units to operate in the area.
This is my first mission I put together that started with something simple and quickly grew from there as I started learning about triggers and what those can bring to a mission. There is some randomness built into the mission to make it replayable.
This mission was primarily built for the AH-64, but then thought to add components to add in other aircraft I've collected since I started building this mission. You can play as an A-10C II, FA-18, KA-50 IIIand F-16. You can even play as an armor unit if you have the Combined Arms module. if you select the KA-50 you'll be fighting off the attack on the Kobuletit air base. I hope that it is challenging but fun at the same time.
