This is my VF-143 Pukin Dogs Skin for VSN's F-4B/C
This, I believe this will be a fantastic substitute until an official F-4 module is released.

I would first like to apologize to EVERYONE who has downloaded this file and any file of mine leading back to my B-17G "Idiots Delight" livery contest submission. Please accept my humblest apologies. I'll explain:
First, I found the reason why the textures look blurry, that issue is finally corrected. I use Photoshop, and recently went through an update, it ticked a DDS setting that wasn't ticked before that I had not noticed. Therefore, I have a few liveries that need to be corrected and updated.
Secondly, I realized I was using the 8k texture template of the VSN F-4 mod, hence the seriously huge file size. I previously was using the 8K version, I've since "downgraded" each texture file to a more manageable 4K. I also recently updated my VSN F-4 mod to the latest version fr om V1.7 something. And now this is wh ere I must sincerely apologize, because now I can't even find the VSN F-4J in DCS World at all. So IF you've downloaded this livery and followed my readme directions, delete it from the VSN_F4J folder. Understand you may or may not be missing the VSN F-4J, BUT I am, and therefore have moved my VF-143 Pukin Dogs liveries into the VSN F-4C folder instead. Everything is now included in the folders, no need for copying and pasting the normal (also reduced to 4K) into each folder.

I've attempted to make these skins as realistic as possible. As well I have created my own texture layers for this particular skin as well as normal map.

I'm particularly proud of these textures, I've done quite a bit of research into the VF-143 Pukin Dogs F-4 USS Enterprise era (as far as a Google search linked to wikipedia is concerned), and of the several images I've found I've created these textures as close to the images I've seen as possible. That being said, I opted to not include any names assigned to these specific airframes.
I hope you all enjoy these as much as I have creating them. I personally love these skins on AI aircraft and I feel like I could look at these for hours on end (oh wait, I have).
This file contains just the Pukin Dogs HiVis skin textures (circa 1972-73) for those skins. In the future I will look at creating other F-4 squadrons using VSN's mod, at least until an official module comes out or VSN says no more.
Installation:
(Delete any previous versions first).
Copy/Paste/Extract into your /Saved Games/DCS/Liveries/VSN_F4C folder. OR...
Copy/Paste/Extract into your /Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Liveries/VSN_F4C folder
