Second mission in a series set in the fictional nation of Hamirah (set on the Syria map). In this mission you have to aid in the defence of the strategic town of Ein Elkorum. Without your help the hastily organised ground defence is sure to fail.

June 10th 2001:
HLF forces continued pushing north and east fr om Masyaf. In the north they push towards and take full control over Tell al-Nahr. The Hamirian army units from 4th infantry regiment tasked with the towns defence surrendered the town and defected to HLF without a fight. In the east HLF forces get within artillery range of Hama airbase and shell it with Grad MLRS. Multiple Mi-24s are destroyed in the strike. The remaining are relocated to Bassel al-Assad airbase. The President of Hamirah does not make any announcements regarding the rapidly developing crisis, but his spokesperson tells TV-reporters that the situation is under control and there is no need for panic.
June 11th 2001: TODAY
In the early morning HLF forces enter the western outskirts of Hama, including the airbase. With the situation rapidly deteriorating the president makes an announcement before lunch time. Wh ere he admits that the mobilisation of the army has not gone to plan. Trains are not running on time and there is chaos in the army chain of command. In the Hama region road convoys are stopped by civilians who support the HLF.
