AH-64D 02-5337 was part of 1-227th A Company 1st cavalry.
It was shot down during February 2nd 2007 near camp Taji in Iraq.
Pilots CW4 Keith Yokum and CW2 Jason G. Defrenn sacrificed their lives to ensure the safety of their wingman when their wingman was attacked by unsuspected guntrucks.

CW4 Keith Yoakum earned the Distinguished Service Cross (Posthumously)
CW2 Jason G. Defrenn earned the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously)

The heroic acts of CW4 Keith Yokum and CW2 Jason G. Defrenn will not be missed.
