Every year in October the Swiss Air Force is having a live firing event open to the public uphill from Brienz: The Axalp Fliegerschiessen.<br />
In essence: Swiss Air Force F/A-18 fighter jets are doing low-level flying in alpine valleys and shooting live amunition at ground targets.<br />
Plus additional helicopter, parachuting, patrouille suisse, etc. demonstrations.<br />
