The former Soviet republic of Chernarus operates the MiG-29 as it's primary air-superiority/multi-role fighter jet. The CDF began operating the MiG-29s immediately after Chernarus's independence, absorbing former Soviet military equipment stuck in the county, after the dissolution of the USSR. The Fulcrum was used heavily during the Chernarussian Civil War against the Russian-backed ChDKZ insurgents, and then was later used to defend the nation against the Russian invasion of Chernarus in the 2020s.
