This is a single player/multicrew/multiplayer(2 Chinooks) mission for the CH-47F in Afghanistan.
As Ford Flight, You are to load and deliver cargo to FOB Smokie (WP4), where you will collect a strike team to be delivered to assist an operation in Tagab.
The mission works with one or two chinooks, which can be multicrewed , The mission triggers will work for any of these combinations.
Royal Air Force Chinooks (Call sign Ford) are operating out of Bagram Air Base in support of RM Commando operations around Bagram and into the Tagab Valley
A Vehicle Control Point has been established to control the head of the valley at FOB Smokie
As Ford Flight, You are to load and deliver cargo to FOB Smokie (WP4), here you will collect a strike team to be delivered to assist an operation in Tagab. The Cargo is already on the ramp next to your A/C.
ONCE YOU OFFLOAD THE CARGO , MOUNT YOUR REAR GUNNER.
ROE: RETURN FIRE ONLY.
After WP 6, as you turn into the valley, keep low as we have reports of MANPADS up on the hills to deny airstrikes against ground targets in the area. Flying under 160 ft AGL gives you some "headroom".
Caution POWER LINES on entry to valley.
NOTE: This is a cold start mission, make sure to remember to turn on RWR and arm countermeasures on your CDU. ASE is for life, not just for Christmas...
