This is a P-47D skin of the 41st FS 35th FG, 7th AF of August 1945 flown at Okinawa.
The skin itself is created after a template for (plastic) model builders and hence assumed to be historically accurate.
However, the serial number and the bort number 'Black 25' are chosen fictionally.
The skin was chosen in antcipation to the upcoming Mariana Islands Map making the Pacific Theater immersive from the very first moment on - which starts not only with the aircraft available but also with their outer looks.
