Yugoslavia received ex-RAF Sabres during the late 1950s via the Mutual Defense Aid Program. These Sabres were Canadair-built Mk.4 aircraft which were upgraded with the 6-3 wing and given the US designation F-86E(M), 'M' for Modified.

Canadair Sabre Mk.6 23392 of No. 422 "Tomahawk" Squadron, No. 4 (Fighter) Wing, RCAF Station Baden-Söllingen, West Germany, circa 1955.
The Mk.6 version of the Sabre introduced the Canadian-built, two stage Orenda 14 engine, rated to 7,275 lbs of thrust. The wing leading edge slats were eventually re-introduced while retaining portions of the 6-3 wing configuration. The Mk.6 therefore acquired a superb combination of engine and aerodynamics and was widely regarded as the best "dog-fighter" of its era.

The cockpits of Canadair-built Sabres differed slightly from their US-built counterparts. This texture pack can be used to simulate the cockpits of the Canadair Sabre Mk.5 and Mk.6, as flown by Canada, as well as other nations including West Germany, Columbia, Pakistan, and South Africa.

This texture pack can be used to simulate the cockpits of early North American F-86 Sabres, as well as the Canadair-built Sabre Mk.2 and Mk.4, as flown by Canada, as well as other NATO nations including Greece, Italy, Turkey, Yugoslavia, and the United Kingdom.
