A small group of Dubai's elite have staged a coup. They have taken over the city itself and most of the northern Arabian Peninsula with the help of several local militia groups; as well as parts of the UAE Airforce, Army, and Navy. A small number of mercenaries, including several from the famed "Wagner Group" have also join the Rebels' cause. They have erected formidable defenses, including a massive SAM net, a small blockade fleet, SCUD missiles, tanks, APCs, and a gun seemingly behind every door. Much of which, is thought to have been supplied by Iran. Following a bold SCUD missile attack on Al Dhafra AFB, the USS Harry S Truman and her strike group, CVSG-75; as well as her air wing, CVW-15, have been dispatched to the Gulf of Oman to deliver the first blow of the American counterattack.
