Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Bindings and Profile for Su-25T

Profile and bindings for the free Su-25T aircraft on the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Relies on some type of head tracking available to the player as no head movement keybinds are included. Addresses a serious lack of profiles for this device, a common starting point in flight simulation. Includes a .zip folder containing the profile itself (.lua) and one .xlsx spreadsheet, visually mapping and describing each binding.

As someone just starting on a flight stick, getting used to the controls after playing on controller was challenging, to say the least. There are very limited resources for the X3DP, especially so for the two free aircraft that DCS comes with. Thus, I present my bindings and preset for the stick, hoping to address the need for a modern and updated(ish) version of other controls. It's roughly (keyword: roughly) laid out similar to Tuuvas' controller preset, as this provides a familiar base for muscle memory coming from controller.

The original control scheme belongs to ReflexArc. I found their profile after searching many forums and it provided a base for me to understand what players want on a stick and on modifiers. The forum thread can be found here: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/175912-setting-up-logitech-extreme-3d-pro-joystick/.

The keybinds require you to have some kind of head tracking available to you, as I did not include head movement keybinds. TrackIR is the go-to, but for people like myself with limited resources, OpenTrack is free and quite good, and is what I use. There are other options, but those can be found in numerous other forum threads. All buttons on the unit are used. The goal was to get all essential keybinds mapped to the stick, therefore not requiring a keyboard or other controller of some type. This was ultimately successful, but the use of a keyboard is needed for extras like non-essential lights, extra autopilot modes, kneeboards, etc.

As a side note, the deadzones and curves may seem a little too extreme. The stick I have has crazy amounts of twist axis drift (used for rudder). It was bad enough to warrant the crazy deadzone. Feel free to adjust the deadzones and curves as needed to fit your individual stick.

To install: Drag the .lua file into your saved games folder for DCS: "...\Saved Games\DCS\InputUserProfiles". If the InputUserProfiles folder does not exist, create it, then drag it in.

Hopefully at least some people can get use out of this, I know that I wished something like this was available when I made the switch. Open to criticism and suggestions if anyone has them. Thanks!
