I created this mission for a competition to land the MiG-15bis in extreme low-visibility using radio-navigation and keep a leaderboard.
This mission is easily changed to use other aircraft.
Between multiplayer sessions you can change the fog->visibility value in the mission editor.
Features:
- Fog-visibility value is automatically read from mission file.
- Records are stored based on DCS player ID (ucid).
- Records are persistent between sessions.
- Records are periodically displayed to all players as a leaderboard.
- Supports aliases for airfields and aircraft for better readability.

The leaderboard looks like this:
Current visibility: 600m
Sukhumi:
200m: Fagot 1-3 | Hopper (MiG-15bis)
300m: Fagot 2-2 | Teddy (MiG-15bis)
300m: Fagot 6-9 | BraveSirRobin (MiG-15bis)
400m: NyaNya (SpitfireLFMkIX)
Batumi:
300m: Fagot 2-2 | Teddy (MiG-15bis)
300m: Fagot 6-9 | BraveSirRobin (MiG-15bis)
200m: Fagot 1-3 | Hopper (F-16C_50)
You need to make some changes on your system for this to work:
- Update DCS World\Scripts\MissionScripting.lua by commenting out (adding two dashes before) sanitizeModule('lfs') to allow storing landing-records.
- Create Saved Games\DCS\Scripts folder where the records are stored.
Without these changes, the landing-data is lost after the session and a warning will be displayed with the leaderboard that the entries are not persistent.
