INSTALLATION AND USAGE:
Extract the "Mods" folder to your base DCS Install Directory, NOT Saved Games.
If you want the new Engine sounds for the JF-17, extract the "CoreMods" folder to your base DCS Install Directory, NOT Saved Games.
You can access the new VMU "Bettys" via the Special Settings menu for the JF-17. The following options are available:
EN1 = English
CN1 = Japanese
Custom = Swedish
By default, the RWR Missile Launch Detection (Not MAWS Detection) sound does not play a Betty voice. You can enable a Betty voice by going into your JF-17 mod folder:
"<<DCS Install Directory>>\Mods\Aircraft\JF-17\Sounds\Effects\Cockpit\Warning"
Making a copy of the MissileLaunch.wav file corresponding to the language you have set (ENglish / JaPanese / SWedish) and renaming it to remove the suffix. MissileLaunchNoVMU.wav is the default one with no Betty voice. MAWS detection will play the Betty voice alert with the language set in the Special Settings.
