Many are familiar with the Dambusters Squadron 617 attack on the Rhur Dams during WW2. However not many are aware of an American dambuster mission that occured during the Korean war. The mission occured on May 1 1951, where 8 Skyraiders of VA-195, each carrying a modified 2000 lb torpedo, attacked the Hwacheon Dam 50 miles northeast of Seoul. This mission is an attempt to recreate that mission giving the limitations of DCS. I have substituted P47's for the Sky Raiders VA-195and P51's for FU Cosairs of VF-192 and VF-193. I have not attempted to make a complete recreation of the mission, but wanted to create a fun mission the replicates some aspects of the real mission. This mission is best flown with some buddies but you could try to do it alone.
