Iron Dome Mod for DCS Made By "IDF Mods Project", The mod accurately displays the capabilities of the Iron Dome.
Installs directly to "Saved Games" folder, and does not break IC.
The mod includes Iron Dome launcher, "ELM-2084 MMR" radar, "Tamir" interceptor (Iron Dome missile).
We had to remake the rockets in DCS in order for the radar to recognize them and be able to intercept them (these are limitations of DCS), so new rockets were added -
- "9M22U - 122mm Grad"
- "9M27F - 229mm Uragan"
- "9M55F - 300mm Smerch"
NOTE: these rockets are a new model in DCS and are marked by the "IDF Mods Project" tag at the beginning of their name.
Mortar bomb interception options will be added later.
Iron Dome can intercept a wide variety of threats such as:
Airplanes, cruise missiles, helicopters, UAVs, glide bombs.
