Georgia is in a deep struggle; armed militias backed by the Russian Federation are attacking and unstabilizing the rural areas of the country, kidnapping important people and destryoing the food supplies of the villagers.

Georgia, unable to fight off the struggle, has asked the UN help to protect the way of living in this areas, and the main food supply chain.

Waiting for the UN resolution, NATO has stepped up, providing units and building different FOB in key areas.

For now, several german mountain Jäeger and greek and U.S units, supported by spanish and U.S army helicopters have arrived to patrol and provide police duties to help de Georgian goverment contain the militias within the mountain and rural areas.

The Royal Navy is making a joint exercise with NATO members near the south coast of Cyprus. The duty of the RAF is to prevent curious soviet recon aircraft off the area desiganted as "no fly zone" to recolect any kind of intel.

All along the last weeks of exercise, soviet heavy bombers and recon aircraft have been entering the zone in despite of the continued intercepts by our fighters stationed at Akrotiri, and USN carrier born interceptors.

But latlety they´ve become more and more agressive in their entries to the zone; trying to hide their radar signature with civilian traffic is one of their favourite tactics.

Your job is to intercept with help of the CGI: code name Mantis; communicate with the intruder, and force them out of the AO without any shooting.

The F/A-18C is a spectacular machine, I just bought it after years of thinking to buy it. The capabilities it carries are just something else. Meanwhile I learn how to employ it´s smart weapons in a manner I start feeling confident. A little mission like this is more than welcomed to learn the matters of the Hornet in a low level pop-up attack with iron bombs, and it is quite fun too.

The Mirage F1 is an amazing little aircraft, although for now, it lacks the capabilities to use smart weapons by itself; it doesn´t mean that we can have loads of fun in the old ways of iron bombing with drag chutes, flying low level over ridges to reach and off the target as fast as possible trying to hide from SAM systems and any possible interceptor.
