Unarguably one of the most aggressive pilots within the 365th, Lt. Col. Robert Coffey would go on to be an accomplished politician after the war, becoming the Democratic party's representative from Pennsylvania in the 81st Congress in 1948.
Repainted and re-detailed undercarriage/internal parts in the correct shade of Chromite Yellow primer (including painstakingly hand drawn nose-art based on hours of photographic research of the actual aircraft, as well as the correct rank insignia and 9th Air Force patch for the Pilot Model), this livery is as close to how the original Coffey's Pot looked prior to, during, and in the weeks after D-Day as possible.
