In this short mission you fly a strike as a Syrian pilot. A weapons depot that supplies terrorists in the surrounding area has been discovered. You have to take it out.

Ground-to-air threats are rated as “low”. We also have the element of surprise on our side.

Due to the difficult situation with aircraft maintenance, you are sent out alone.

It's 1993. You are in Wujah Al Hajar airfield. Today is your uncles' birthday and you promised few weeks ago that you will pay him a visit. It's been a long time since your last moments with him, due to your military service. You wouldn't like to break your promise as your presence will be the best gift for him taking into account his degenerative illness.

Unfortunately the day woke up with pretty bad weather... and the forecast for all week looks like it's not going to improve and will get even worse.

Although your Yak-52 is not able or authorized to do IFR flights, you are going to demonstrate that few raindrops are not going to stop you. As you have to take the Yak to Rene Mouawad to do its scheduled preventive maintenance anyway, you can fly there and do the return trip by road.

Vous devez maintenant rejoindre la base de départ: ADANA air force base.

Cependant, vos exploits d'hier et avant-hier ont particulièrement énervé les syriens et les iraniens et leurs défenses aériennes sont en alerte maximum. Rejoindre Adana AB ne sera pas une balade de santé.

In this small mission you fly the MiG-21Bis. You navigate with distance, heading and speed (Dead Reckoning).

There is the possibility to use RSBN at three waypoints. This allows you to correct a slight drift or inaccurate navigation.

In short, you fly at the given speed and maintain the correct heading. Then you should be at the correct position at the time noted and turn to the next waypoint.

There will be a message when you make an appropriate pass.

The mission has Arabic voice-overs, English text messages and the briefing pictures in the kneeboard.

DE PROFUNDIS Episode 2/3.

SITUATION : Nous sommes le 22 avril 2018, il est 06H25 LT. Vous venez de décoller de la piste de fortune (aménagée spécialement) de TALISMAN (voir carte). Hier, vous avez neutralisé la patrouille de 2xMiG-29A en alerte sur Deir ez Zor. Selon un renseignement ROHUM vérifié et fiable, le N°2 de ADYAQLA, une organisation terroriste internationale, doit se rendre aujourd’hui de Haditha (Ouest Irak) vers un lieu secret, proche de l’aéroport de Sayqal (38 NM au NE de Damas). Un de nos satellites a repéré ce matin, à 2h00, un convoi suspect correspondant à la cible sur une route dans l’Est de la Syrie, en provenance d’Irak. Si l’objectif est confirmé, ce haut responsable ne doit pas atteindre la région de Sayqal. Cette opération est TOP SECRET, et est supervisée par la CIA et la DGSE, en collaboration avec la NSA et la DRM.

Selon un renseignement ROHUM vérifié et fiable, le N°2 de ADYAQLA, une organisation terroriste internationale, doit se rendre aujourd’hui de Haditha (Ouest Irak) vers un lieu secret, proche de l’aéroport de Sayqal (38 NM au NE de Damas). Un de nos satellites a repéré ce matin, à 2h00, un convoi suspect correspondant à la cible sur une route dans l’Est de la Syrie, en provenance d’Irak. Si l’objectif est confirmé, ce haut responsable de ADYAQLA ne doit pas atteindre la région de Sayqal. Une mission STRIKE (Ep2) est programmée pour le neutraliser. Vous neutraliserez une patrouille d'alerte de 2xMiG29A sur la base de Deir ez Zor afin d'ouvrir la voie à la mission principale.
