The Strike in Suez

Hey awesome DCS Brothers & Sisters, should take you under an hour & I would difficulty rate this around 6/10, Enjoy.
11:00 hrs Ford 1-1 You've arrived to the AO via the Red Sea & are Angels 14 over Suez City & teyou'll be heading North to the Suez Canal. Your WP-1 is over Kibrit & 45 miles ahead are your WP-2, WP-3 & WP-4 & these 3 are set to Min Alt along the Suez Canal road. We've been monitoring a 10 Unit column heading Nth along the Suez & it looks like they are going to Deploy at a FARP a mile from your WP-4. The column consists of 3 x Tanks, 1 x APC, 2 x Technicals & 4 x Trucks & will arrive at their FARP in approx 35 mins from your mission start time. There is also a enemy Black Shark following the column as a Guard but more of a concern is an "Ace" SU-33 Flanker-D fighter loaded with 2 x short range Infrared guided Archer missiles & 2 x medium range R-27 Alamo missiles & he is "IN HOT" from the North to your location immediately from mission start. More details in mission.

You are tasked with eliminating four cargo ships that are offloading illegal arms in Northern Yemen.

Take off from Ramon Airbase and fly directly to waypoint 1. Upon reaching waypoint 2, the F-16C SEAD flight will refuel from the tanker. Ensure you refuel after them as they proceed to neutralize an SA-3 in the area.

Once refueled, launch your attack on the ships located at waypoint 3.A, 4.A, 5.A, and 6.A. Preprogram your 2000 pound JDAMS for precision strikes.

Return through waypoint 7, 8, and 9 to navigate safely around Saudi airspace.

This Foothold mission is based of the original versions of Caucasus and Syria by DZSEKEB

In this persistent dynamic campaign, your goal is to move through the map and capture all zones from the enemy.

As you capture some areas, you will unlock benefits for your coalition such as friendly air patrols, or new spawn positions. Beware as the enemy will also launch attacks to retake what was once theirs.

On 6 October 1973, Egypt launched a massive surprise attack on Israel, with over 200 Egyptian aircraft participating in an opening airstrike. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) Base Ofir at Sharm el-Sheikh came under attack by 20 Egyptian Air Force MiG-17s, escorted by eight MiG-21s.

On 19 October 1973, the Israeli army emplaced its huge roller bridge at Deveroir and three tank divisions crossed onto the west bank of the canal.

Late that afternoon, Egypt sent a force of fighter-bombers with a MiG-21 escort to attack the bridgehead. The IAF responded with two squadrons of F-4s and one squadron of Neshers. "Down on Deversoir it was total tumult: parachutes in the air and there were so many of us that it was almost impossible to catch an enemy aircraft'" recalled F-4 pilot Asher Snir.

On 20 October 1973, Israeli armored forces that crossed the Suez Canal a day earlier today are advancing on the major Egyptian base at Fayid. A helicopter-borne IDF paratroop battalion was flying to the south of the base to engage any Egyptian ground vehicles trying to escape.

The Israeli Air Force has launched three F-4E squadrons to attack Fayid ahead of the ground forces. Two squadrons have SEAD missions to knock out SAMs and AAA.

The third F-4E squadron was tasked to strike vehicle parks at Fayid Camp, an Egyptian Army base adjacent to the airfield. Your are leading the first flight.

Israeli armored units crossed the Suez Canal in force on 16 October 1973. On 18 October 1973, the IAF conducted Operation Nutcracker 22 to clear the area around the Suez Canal of Egyptian SAMs. The objective was to gain air superiority so that IAF attack aircraft could provide Close Air Support to IDF tank units operating west of the canal.

You are the leader of an F-4E flight tasked with suppressing SAMs to allow follow-on attack aircraft to level a SAM battery.
